Jensen wins 5yr old Championship qualifier

The beautiful Jensen put his best foot forward at Little Downham to win the first 5yr old qualifier of the year in great style. He had the best dressage mark of the section with a 25, rolled an unlucky pole show-jumping where he was a little green, but then stormed around the cross-country to win and book his ticket for Osberton in September.

This has now meant that we must change our plans slightly as he can no longer enter 5yr old classes but it is not a bad complaint to have! For a horse that only really started working last Autumn he is proving to be a class act and a real professional.

Rienroe lucky Ranger was also having his first outing of the year in the Open Novice and went very pleasingly to come 2nd. He had been entered earlier in the year for Gatcombe, but when that was cancelled and because he was my own he slightly went on the back burner but he is ready to rock and roll now and will head to Catton next for the Intermediate, along with Wasting Light and Kings Advocate in the Open Intermediate.
